Adar Experiential An _- Venahapochu
I try to find ways to teach my children different ideas in a creative “non teachey” ways as well as create fun memories. Research shows that children have a better chance of remembering something if they ” experience” it. ( Hence all those children’s museums out there.) Even though, it is hard to think of ideas. Below is one -
For dinner this Rosh Chodesh Adar, we had a Topsy Turvey Supper. We all got dressed up in costumes. Ate in the dining room table on the side we never use. ( My three year old put out the horseradish and grape juice because he thought it was Shabbos.) We ate dessert first etc….. It was a lot of fun with a lot of giggling.
I would love to hear from you anyway that you create unique and creative memories for your kids.
