Chic on the Cheap Look of the Week
This week’s look is a great transitional one for the spring season. Here in New Jersey, we don’t actually have much of a spring…it usually goes from chilly and rainy straight to hot and humid, and that can leave us super confused when it comes to planning what to wear. I like this look because it’s simple, cool, and accessorized really well. The open lace-up nude boots say, “I’m moving into spring but I’m not completely switched to summer yet.” I also love this outfit for its fluid, roomy feel…perfect for hiding that annoying post Pesach bloat we all have to deal with.
How to achieve this chic look without spending a fortune? Check out these two versions:
LOOK #1
Shirred long sleeve tee: $19.99
White floral butterfly belt $13.20
Lace up Booty $59.95
Floral Scarf $16.95
Layered Chain Necklace $16.50
Circle Rhinestone Necklace $14.00
Total for this Look: $270.59
LOOK #2
Skinny Braid Belt $19.95
3/4 Sleeve T-shirt in Seafoam $20
Crystal Cluster Necklace $15.96
Madden Girl Buckle Booty $44.95
Cream and Raffia Skirt $57.60
Striped Scarf $16.90
Total for this Look: $175.36
And do not fret…that bloat will eventually go away. Be sure to drink lots of water, avoid processed carbs and eat lots of fruits and veggies….until, of course, your heavenly Challah comes out of the oven!
Enjoy the rest of your week and have a fabulous Shabbos!
