Five spring trends to consider while planning your Pesach wardrobe
Whether you’re staying home this Pesach or going away, a major part of the preparation is planning your family’s wardrobe as well as you own. Here are 5 major spring trends to keep in mind while shopping and packing:
1. FLORALS-they are back in full force. We may not be accustomed to such an explosion of color but you can wear this trend whatever way works for you..by wearing a vibrant floral dress, or by adding just a small botanical touch like a bright floral headband. Try wearing it around the top of your forehead instead of over your head, for an updated touch.
2.VIBRANT COLOR/COLOR BLOCKING- This style is reminiscent of the 80′s and is a visually refreshing look for this spring. If going bold with this trend is too daring, start by adding some vivid stripes to your wardrobe.
3. 70′s STYLE-Floaty maxi-skirts, loose peasant tops, floppy hats, skinny belts, headwraps….try just one element of this look or take it all the way for a stunning seventies style!
4. LACE-this feminine style looks fabulous in a vibrantly colored sheath dress with contrasting platform pumps. No accessories needed for this look. Lace also looks beautiful in coral, peach and blush, which are also major colors for this spring.
5. MAXI-DRESSES/SKIRTS- For frum women this is a favorite trend for both style and comfort! Try several in pastel colors and soft floaty styles. The possibilities here are endless.
Now that you know what to look for…get shopping! Try to find a store that offers all of the latest trends at fairly reasonable prices. I found that Topshop online was a great resource for many stylish items for spring:

It’s a busy time for all of us, so whatever you do about your clothing situation, don’t stress too much over it. You can always recycle what you already have in your closet by mixing things up and accessorizing with a few easy pieces. This topic will be discussed in my next post….
Til next time,
