DIVINE SHABBOS LOOK OF THE WEEK

This dress is so glamorous and I love the way the white petticoat peaks out from the bottom. This is such an inspiration for those who leave their shopping trips frustrated because skirt lengths just don’t cut it. Forget about adding a piece to the bottom (what a pain it is to find the perfect fabric and even more difficult, the perfect seamstress!) Instead purchase a crisp white petticoat or even a full skirt and pop it under your dress. Be a trendsetter….no one will ever know the dress didn’t come that way.
PUT THE LOOK TOGETHER
In this look I found a structured, full skirted black dress and all that’s needed to complete the ensemble is a pair of great shoes (I love lace shoes with this dress and I’ve offered heels and flats depending on your preference) and sparkling chandelier earrings. When wearing earrings like these you don’t need any other jewelry…less is more . Try some dramatic makeup so at least some of it will stay on. Add a spritz of your favorite perfume and you will go into Shabbos feeling, looking and smelling beautiful!
DRAMATIC MAKEUP LOOK OF THE WEEK

Line your eyes all around with black kohl eyeliner, smudge lightly with a brush to smooth out line. Sweep a metallic gold shadow along your entire eyelid. Try Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow in gold nugget. Then take a small brush and sweep some black shadow along your crease slightly bringing it up at the outer corner. Blend lightly with a qtip or your finger. Add two coats of mascara and finish with a sweep of red lipstick.

HOW TO:
Buy three different varieties of flowers in the same colorway from your local grocery store. Ask the florist there if they also sell wide leaves like the banana leaf. Gather three glass vases in different heights (arrangements always look best in odd numbers) and wrap a leave around the inside of the vase. Fill with water, trim the flowers to fit and place each type in its own vase. Simple and super elegant!
