Great Activity IDEA – Will Keep Your Kids Busy For Hours!

Hey Ks Moms,

I have my nephews over for a few days, and there is just so much time I can devote to sitting outside by the pool with them – or playing ball, or taking them and my daughter out on adventures (they think it’s my job – little do they know…;) )

So I have had to come up with some activities that they can do indoors (or outdoors) by them selves (with minimal supervision) while I do my WORK stuff!

I bought some huge rolls of Brown Paper at my local Teacher Supply store – you can find them in almost any craft store like Michaels, AC Moore -or if you have a teacher supply store – there as well. Fairly inexpensive – about $20 for a few yards of paper – they also come in many different colors.

This with a box of markers – and a little imagination  – makes a great project.

We decided to make a road with a town  – a lake for some boats – A farm with some animals – We took out the coordinating toys and they had a blast -Literally Hours of Fun – My almost 2 year old daughter had a blast -(we did have to stop her a few times from walking all over the street and trying to get into the car – don’t ask ..)

But when all is said and done – I was able to get some work done as the kids played – and more importantly they were able to get creative and not once did I hear I AM SO BORED!!!!

I say success all around  – great activity for a rainy day as well.
