Happy Independence Day-Red, White, Blue and a Stylish You!

Hey everyone, hope you’re all enjoying your 4th of July weekend. It’s no coincidence that some of the most popular colors in summer dressing are red, white and blue. They’re crisp, invigorating and reminiscent of sand, sky and flowers. Today I’ve compiled some fabulous mix and match pieces that would look great combined, or just as a pop of style on their own.

Red, White, Blue = Stylish You

Navy Blue Dress: $118.40

White T-shirt: $22

Red Skirt: $45

Swarovsky Azure Drop Earrings: $75

Charles David Red Espadrilles: $108.75 (sale!)

Blue Plaid Espadrilles: $44.95

Lauren by Ralph Lauren White Ankle Strap Sandals: $109

White and Gold Satchel: $49.79

Red  Crossbody Bag: $75.99 (sale!)

Antik Batik Navy Straw Tote: $144.81 (sale!)

For those of you who are not a fan of resembling the American (or for that matter, British) flag, the creative possibilities are endless when combining just two of these three colors. As an example, the combination of blue and white is one of  the most classic, crisp and visually appealing, especially in interior design and party decor, as seen in this gorgeous outdoor table scape by Carolyn Roehm:

When using all three colors of red, white and blue in your table setting try to use lots of pattern to create a whimsical and fun look that’s not typical and boring. Pier One Imports is a great resource for really cool elements for your home and party decor!
