This morning is already starting out as a hectic one – and I am really trying not to skip breakfast. They say it is the most important meal of the day and by eating well in the morning – you are more likely to eat well through out the day!
Had some leftover blueberries from my muffins I made the other day and decided that a good delicious smoothie would be the ultimate power breakfast.Super easy to make and I always have the odd half a package of frozen blueberries and strawberries in
my freezer left over.
Here’s to a great busy morning and starting the day off right!
- 1 large banana, chopped into chunks
- 1 tbsp raw almonds
- 1.25 cups Almond Milk or skim milk
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
Directions: Add Almond milk into blender followed by the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Add sweetener if preferred. Serves 1 (about 2 cups).
