Quick Tangy Chicken Bites
I must confess – I am sorta cooked out from this past week – and since I really have no left overs from Shabbat – I decided I am taking a little vacay from making a “real” dinner for just me, my husband and Tunie.
So tonight – I am pulling out my Quick Tangy Chicken Bites, this with a quick bag lettuce salad – and we are good to go!
I love this recipe, it is super easy and the chicken tastes just like it came off the BBQ.
I am promising you – your kids and husband will love this chicken – so if you are like me and need a break from making dinner tonight – throw this in the oven – from start to finish takes 5 minutes prep time – you really can not beat that!
Stick your feet up with me- we deserve it!

Quick Tangy Chicken Bites
1 package frozen chicken drummets
garlic powder
ginger powder
chili powder
fresh ground black pepper
1 cup Sweet Teriyaki
1 cup Favorite Tangy Mustard
Pre-heat oven to 375
Sprinkle all the spices generously over your chicken drummets. In a small bowl mix together the teriyaki and the mustard. Pour and brush the teriyaki mixture over the chicken making sure everything is well coated. Bake in oven on 375 for about 30 -40 minutes or until chicken is cooked and the teriyaki has carmelized. Serve with our favorite mustard or condiment.
TIP: My secret ingredients for this recipe and most recipes that I make that calls for Teriyaki is really MR. YOSHIDA SWEET & SAVORY SAUCE -the only place I know where you can get it is in Costco -$7.99 for a bottle. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STUFF and would drink it with a spoon if I could it is that delicious. I literally use it all the time!!!
Another great mustard product that I recommend for you to try if you haven’t yet is the Bone Suckin Mustard Sauce – both my husband and I are big fans and Dov uses it all the time in his bbq secret marinates. Most local Kosher grocery stores carry this product. (if your not in to spicy – make sure you get the plain and not the one marked Hot Relish)
