‘ROOM TO GROOM’ – I’M IN A TIFFANY BLUE KIND OF MOOD

Hey KS Fans,

So it is Fashion Week in NYC and here at KS we love seeing all the latest trends and beautiful things that the designers are showcasing.

We are especially loving that “modesty” dressing seems to be all the rage. And like one of our Fans on KS says – this is not a trend for us – but it is our LIFESTYLE!

So this week we at KS are having our own little Fashion Week with some great posts by our favorite Jewish Fashionistas!

Starting us off with a little Fashion Home Decor – is our one and only Fashion-Isha Sharon Langert!

J’adore her Style!

FROM ROOM TO GROOM

In A Tiffany BLUE Kind Of Mood

It’s been a while, but I’m baaack! And it sure feels good. Kosher Street has become the hottest place to be and I’m so glad to be a part of it! And I sure missed you. I’d also like to extend a welcome to all the new Kosher Street fans, and introduce my frum fashion and lifestyle blog, www.fashion-isha.com. I’m really excited to share one of my favorite creative post ideas with you, ‘From Room to Groom‘, where I take an interior design inspiration and transform it into a fabulous fashion look.

Recently I’ve been in a Tiffany blue kind of mood. This is one of the most visually appealing colors out there for its soothing effects and association with high end and glamorous retail packaging. It’s one of the most popular colors for parties, room decor and even fashion. Here are some gorgeous examples plus a look I put together for you:
Tiffany blue is the perfect color to retire to. The solid leather headboard offers a soothing break between the printed linen and wallpaper. Add creamy white with a touch of taupe for the perfect companion color.
The same exact color scheme looks just as soothing in this light and bright kitchen. The perfect balance of scale, pattern and color works really well in this space.
When in doubt add a touch of tiffany blue by painting the inside of a bookshelf or closet. Or just add fabulous accessories in this hue to brighten up a neutral room.
Now let’s get dressed!
This color combo works great in fashion! Although at first glance these colors seem summery they can be worn all year round. A winter white or beige skirt with interesting detailing looks great with any pop of color, especially tiffany blue. Great shoes and a few bold accessories are all you need to pull everything together. I also added a cool light fixture for thematic affect.
