What a week it was with all the Thanksgiving madness and fun! I hope all of you had a wonderful day filled with lots of family love & gratitude and lots of good food. The truth is, every Shabbos is like a Thanksgiving day, and this is my wish for all of you and myself every week!

Thank You Notes:

And then Yesterday I got this email :

BH! my kiddies downed it (nothing like making food look like lollipops!) We also had Zehava Lankry Amon over for dinner with her two boys (we’re neighbors) and she thought they were really good!

And I realized the POWER of just a THANK YOU note is so strong!  Not only did this note make me smile on a day I was feeling a little blue, because my husband was working on Thanksgiving! But it made me realize all the long hours and endless time spent cooking and writing – well it is worth it!

WE MUST BRING BACK THE THANK YOU NOTES!!  I personally do not write enough of them and I realized how important it is to take out those few minutes and jot down a few words of thanks  – it can really make a difference to those who are on the receiving end.

Friday Flowers

Finally here is my Friday Flower Pick for this week. Because it was just a holiday, your local grocery store chains have an abundance of fall flowers to choose from. You don’t need to spend a lot of money for flowers – go and buy from the 3 for $12 you will see some great choices.

– Nothing brightens up your home for the winter season like vases filled with fresh flowers. Sunflowers and alstromeria are great choices because they’ll remain beautiful for up to a week. The trick to keeping blooms fresh is to remove all leaves below the water line and change out the water every few days.

Not only do the make a great visual impact by themselves in a vase, and then grouped together on the table, they are inexpensive and you get a lot of flowers in a bunch.

Till Next Week!

Have A Great Shabbos! Sarah
