Hey Kosherstreet Fans,
I was invited to guest blog about this seasons makeup trends plus as an added bonus I’ve included my top 5 must haves that every woman should have in their makeup carry on bag.
Straight from the runways, Fall makeup trends definitely lean to the edgier side. A look that I personally don’t always think looks best on me, ( but sometimes I have to suffer for beauty too)
As I browsed through almost all the looks for this season, I picked out a few that I thought would be the most practical and fun.
Love to hear feedback and know what your favorite makeup brands & what would you wear from my picks this season- so please comment below!
Dark Cherry, Burgundy, and Deep Wine are the colors that dominated on most fashion runways. This bold look needs little else to make a lasting impression. However a word to the wise- better not pair this look with a smokey eye. Keep the eyes simple and let your lips do all the talking.
Flushed cheeks were all the rage at Michael Kors. The rosy cheeks are meant to look like you just finished a workout or a morning run.

Thick defined brows are still making a comeback. Over tweezing or over waxing is so 1990׳s. The more natural the better.
Smokey Eyes Done DifferentNot only for grey and black shadows.
Smoke out your eyes with multi-toned colors. Look outside your window at the gorgeous foliage and use that as your creative inspiration. Deep browns, plums, and even some metallic orange looks terrific together. Mix it up and have fun.Jason Wu smokey eye makeupFresh & Clean Face
Go for an all over clean look this fall when it comes to your skin. Try monochromatic contouring in nude tones. For this look bronzed is not recommended. Use a color close to your skin tone to contour the hallows of your cheeks.
Now for my TOP 5 MUST HAVES:
Gloss is a MUST! Especially going into the cold winter months. My personal favorites are Trish McEvoy Irresistable, and Laura Mercier Bon Bon
#2 BronzerHaving a sun kissed look is perfect all year round. It can really define your cheekbones and give you a more polished look. Two of my favorites is the Arbonne Bronzer for light to medium toned skin. And NARS Casino for darker skin tones.
#3 ConcealerWho doesn’t need concealer?? Either for under your eyes or to conceal any blemishes. Without it I look drab and tired. With it I look refreshed and can hide my lack of sleep.
#4 PerfumeTry getting a carry on bottle or roll on perfume. It’s a great way to keep your perfume from fading throughout the day. Unfortunately my absolute favorite perfume since I was in high school doesn’t make a travel size, but maybe yours does.
Floret by Antonia’s Flowers
( that’s my favorite)#5 Last but not Least MASCARA!!!Do I even have to explain?? Mascara is an absolute must! It really emphasizes the eye are and makes them look bigger and bolder. My all time favorite is Trish McEvoy Lash Curling Mascara, because it does not run or flake. And it’s a cinch to take off- No need for eye make up remover.Plus an an extra treat heres a fabulous giveaway.
